Today PLEXIS Healthcare Systems, Inc. and Prime Healthcare Services (Prime) announced that Prime has acquired the PLEXIS Claims Manager, PLEXIS EDIWorks, and PLEXIS Alerts software products for use at its Desert Valley Medical Group location to help facilitate greater automation with its managed care operations. A component of the implementation of the PLEXIS software products will involve interfacing the PLEXIS Claims Manager system to the medical group’s new electronic medical records system to facilitate automated workflows for authorizations and other data between the two systems, all within the group’s I.T. enterprise.
