PCM 2012.1 Release Delivers Expanded Workflow and ICD-10 Support Capabilities

Expansion of workflow capabilities and support for ICD-10 code administration provides increased operational efficiency and compliance for healthcare payer organizations

Ashland, Oregon, October 2, 2012 – PLEXIS Healthcare Systems, Inc. announced at its recent Users Conference, held here September 9-12, 2012, the newest release of its PLEXIS Claims Manager™ (PCM) product. Version 2012.1 is due to be made commercially available in December, 2012, and will contain new features and capabilities to further support the processing capabilities of PLEXIS’ healthcare payer clients. PCM version 2012.1 includes additional capabilities to support enhanced operational efficiency by providing easier access to data within and outside of the system, as well as enhanced support for administration of ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes.

“The expanded capabilities of PLEXIS Claims Manager version 2012.1 will provide our clients with easier ways to work with system data and to navigate to external documents associated with different system records aiding in increased efficiency when managing claims, referrals, authorizations, members, providers and customer service issues, as well as provide full integration of both ICD-9 and ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes for claim processing, ensuring compliance with the impending ICD-10 rollout date, and providing ample time for testing and validation,” said Sean Garrett, Chief Product Strategy Officer for PLEXIS.

Additionally, PLEXIS announced that it is planning to make the next version of its PLEXIS Claims Manager integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting software commercially available in Q4 of this year. This updated integration makes use of the newest Microsoft Dynamics GP ‘E-Connect’ integration application and web service technologies, works with the latest Windows operating systems and versions of SQL Server (both 32-bit and 64-bit), and includes several new security and functional enhancements, providing PCM users with greater platform support and automation in managing their accounting (AP and AR) transactions.
